Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you are enjoying your time with your families! Our Christmas was pretty quiet this year…just me and these two beautiful girls! I am loving being home and spending so much time with them!
I used Teresa Collins Santa's List for this layout! Here is a close-up so you can see all those fabulous embellishments in this collection:
I definitely LOVE those sequins!!!!

Christmas Cards - Teresa Collins Santa's List
Christmas is quickly approaching….4 more days!!!! It always seems to arrive much faster than expected :-)
Today I have a few cards to share that were recently on the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog. I used the Santa's List Collection on all of them.
I am absolutely smitten with the sequins in this collection! For my first card I filled up a treat bag with sequins and layered that overtop of a few of the patterned papers in the collection. Next, I added the joy sticker, button and snowflake die cut. I just love the look of the sequins in behind!
I kept this next one pretty simple (easy to mass produce…wink wink). I just love the bold red in this collection!
I had fun on this last card and decided to push myself outside of my comfort zone! I am normally quite "linear" in my designs but this time, I decided to play with circles! The mix of die cuts and stickers makes this so quick and easy. The enamel dots are just the right touch!

Today
I am feeling quite proud of myself lately for making an effort to get BEHIND the camera every now and then! These photos were taken with my self timer!
I used the Family Stories collection from Teresa Collins. Teresa's lines have the BEST embellishments and always seem to include things that I want to say…love that!
Hope you are getting in your pictures!!!!

Love my Sweet Pig
This year at my daughter's school, every student brought home the book Charlotte's Webb to read as a family. I absolutely love this program and enjoyed reading with my girls each night. For one of their spirit days at school, the kids were encouraged to dress up as their favourite Charlotte's Webb character. I made two Wilbur the Pig costumes for the girls but Madison ended up being sick that day :-( Sienna was super excited to be a cute little pig…
I used Teresa Collin's Family Stories collection. I just love the hints of pink from this collection to help make the pig pictures pop and the chipboard arrow was a perfect way to draw attention to that cute piggy tail!!
Here is a close up:
Hmmmm maybe I can be a pig for Halloween????

Russian Magazine Publication
Today was a great start to the week! I am feeling very organized after spending the weekend, well organizing! I also made two suppers in advance for the week as well as pumpkin cookies (YUM) and a tomato soup recipe from scratch (I have soooo many garden tomatoes to use up)!
A little while back, I had the opportunity to contribute to a Russian Scrapbooking Magazine. They were doing a feature on Teresa Collins and her fabulous product :-)
Here is the layout I made that was published in the article:
The requested theme was "baby" so I had a blast digging up old photos of my sweet girls...gosh they grow up fast! Sniff sniff! This photo of Sienna was always a favorite of mine...she was such happy baby!

Family Stories Layouts
Hello! Today I am excited to show you a couple of projects I did using the A.M.A.Z.I.N.G Family Stories collection!
The colors in the collection are pretty fabulous! For my "Butterfly" layout, I reached for the papers with a soft and pretty feel - using the backsides of "Noted", "Doily" "Flower" and "Anchor" papers. I love the cute "Notecards" paper and cut out the "take note" from there. I wanted to compliment the pink butterfly on my daughter's face and I found adding a few touches of pink did the trick!
I added my embellishments in groups of three. Note the three butterflies (with the CUTE sequins in their centre) and the cluster of three on the notecard of a brad, button and enamel dot.
The best part about this collection is that it can be used for any themed pages! My next page features the photos I took of my friend and her husband when they were expecting. This time, I wanted to bring in some of the richer colors to pop against the black in the photos!
There are so many embellishments in this collection that makes me feel like a kid in a candy store! I think I have a little bit of everything on this page: Chipboard, brads, enamel dots, die-cuts, stickers, and my favorite...the envelopes!!! A perfect spot to tuck in that ultrasound photo :-)
Here is another closeup so you can see more of the delicious embellishments in more detail:
Well I hope you RUN to the nearest scrapbook store and pick up this collection! You will LOVE it and reach for it over and over for all of your FAMILY STORIES!!!

Clean and simple cards
A couple of cards to share today! For both of these cards I used a mix of Teresa Collin's Stationery Notes and Summer Stories collections.
I love Teresa's embellishments so much...I am a total "brad" girl. And this cute "F friend" brad is so unique and fun!
I just adore the bicycle journaling card that I cut from the Stationery Noted Journaling Cards paper...it is so cute! I added a heart I cut out, a chipboard button and "love" diecut from the Summer Stories collection.
Hope you are getting your scrap on today...ha!

Spring!!!
I am one of those people who really actually loves winter. I love the stillness, how beautiful it can be and I enjoy many winter activities like cross country skiing. I am, however, so DONE with winter. It has felt ridiculously long this year and I am ready for sunshine, birds coming back and butterflies.
Since it is now officially Spring...I have decided to act as though it is Spring (even though there is SO much snow outside and it is still very COLD). I have started my Spring cleaning, bought new sundresses for my girls and started to plan my garden! Here are some fun Spring tags I made using a mix of Teresa Collins goodies:

My 2 Sweet Girls
As I am sure many of you can attest, children grow up WAY too fast! I was so lucky to have been able to stay at home for several of the years while my girls were small but for over a year now I have been back at work full time. I LOVE my job but I feel torn wanting to be home for my daughters after school. So happy to have decided to shorten my work week to four days! This has made a huge difference for me! I can do all my cleaning, grocery shopping etc. while my girls are at school and then have more time on the weekends for fun with them! So blessed to have been able to do this...and I am sure they will be all grown up in the blink of an eye!
Another perk? Home more often to take more pictures of my girls..ha! For this layout, I used the gorgeous Now and Then collection from Teresa Collins. I had so much clustering a bunch of embellishments within the heart! Here is a detailed shot:

Max the Grasshopper
This layout was up on the Teresa Collins Design Team blog the other day... do you follow that blog? I love checking in for my daily dose of inspiration from the DT!
I used the Christmas Cottage collection - so fun that this line can be used for lots of different themes! This layout shares the story of my daughter's pet grasshopper "Max". She had a very special bond with Max. Check out the close-up photo below...she even hand fed him!
Off to document more memories! Happy Scrapping!

Family
I am so happy to have two daughters who (most of the time) get along so well and lately I have been reflecting on my childhood and seeing through new eyes how lucky I was to grow up with a sister. I wish I had more photos or videos that showed my sister and I when we were little (all the more confirming for me to keep up with scrapbooking!). So I was eager to scrap this photo of my sister and I when I came across it the other day.
Teresa Collins Vintage Finds was the perfect collection for my layout. I love the chipboard pieces and the fabulous brads. I tucked in a "family bingo card" as my title.
I am excited that I made into one of my pages ( I am slowly getting better at scrapbooking things other than my children) and hey...I am much cuter as a baby than I am now...LOL! Here is a close-up:

Gratitude
Can you believe it is nearing the end of July??? How quickly summer flies by! I have been trying to sneak away to the lake as much as possible so I zipped up this past weekend and had a blast with my girls boating and tubing! I was lucky to be at home with them so much over the last few years and now that I am working again ... I sure cherish the time I do get to spend together!
I love the new Vintage Finds collection from Teresa Collins. It was perfect to document how thankful I am for these girls of mine!
The embellishments in this collection are amazing! I especially love the buttons and chipboard! Here is a close up look:

Tell Your Story.....
I am so excited to share with you today Teresa Collin's new summer 2012 CHA release TELL YOUR STORY. When I took a look at this collection, I KNEW this would be a favourite! The colours and patterns are AMAZING!!! Just take a look for yourself:
And although Teresa had me smitten at the papers..there is SO MUCH MORE!!!! Brads, rhinestones, paper flowers, stamps, washi tape, chipboard, trim, buttons and stickers!!!! You need to go and check it all out on Teresa Collin's blog HERE. While you are there, be sure to enter to WIN the entire paper collection!!!!
I immediately tore into my collection and here is the first layout I have to share with you:
I love this picture I took of my daughter while we were up at the lake last week. She loves to get down and look in wonder and the small things....the plants, the bugs, the grains of sand. I so love her curiosity. But I also see glimpses of her looking at the big picture...taking in the entire view and starting to get a glimpse at how big the world is. I hope she will always dream big and know that can DO ANYTHING!!!!

With You
In a few days, my husband and I will celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary...not sure what we are doing...pretty sure he won't be whisking me away to Paris for the evening (HA) but that would be fun...but whatever we do it will be wonderful because we will be together. I am blessed. And I am blessed to be able to share in other's love too. Here is a layout of my sweet friend's wedding from last summer.
Isn't she GORGEOUS? And so is the Fabrications Linen collection from Teresa Collins! So sophisticated and elegant and perfect for wedding scrapping!
I also have a few sneaks to share...coming very soon...the full reveal for the June My Creative Scrapbook Kit but for now...just the sneaks:
