My first layout shows my oldest daughter with her first taste of an orange crush (my other daughter picked a blue cream soda and that layout will be coming shortly:-)

All the cute kids on one of the patterned paper made me think of the school trip I volunteered to go to las year with my daughter. They went to the park for part of the day.

April Kit from Art Freckles

My first layout is from last summer's holiday at the lake. My girls happily spend everyday, ALL day at the beach:-) Looking forward to doing that again this summer! I had fun rolling paper to make my sun!

Next up...sweet laughter. I love that girls laugh. Had fun with the mist and playing with circles:-)

Lastly (for now) is "they call me mama". I don't know why my girls started calling me mama but I sure love it:-) I had fun playing with my new cricut for this one! It sure makes cutting out hearts a breeze! In the times of BC (before cricut - which really was only a couple of days ago...LOL) I would happily spend hours tracing and cutting out each heart! Well I can NEVER go back now! LOVE my cricut!!!

Delight

This girl really is such a delight! However, she doesn't let me take pictures of her anymore:-( and her sister's album (she still loves the camera) is filling up fast! So I found these from last summer.

I am cleaning my scrap room - this has been ongoing for a month now...and I keep finding things I forgot about and want to use...then I scrap and make a huge mess all over again. BUT slowly I am getting more organized and using up some stuff in the process:-) This page uses Lily Bee papers from the November Art Freckles Kit. I also added some CTMH rub ons and wooden buttons (I LOVE LOVE these wooden buttons).

March Kit From Art Freckles

Hello! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Pretty low key here but I managed to get lots of scrappy projects done:-) Here are two that I did using the SOLD OUT Art Freckles kit...wanna see what you missed out on? Check the kit out HERE and be sure to be ready to pounce on next months kit:-)

The first layout is me with my sweet Sienna. I decided that I needed to get into more of my pages so my 7 year old took these pictures for me...she did pretty darn good hey? I just LOVE the Donna Downey/Prima Tags that came in this kit...I seriously almost used them all on this layout..but settled on two:-)

Next layout's pictures are from last summers on one of our camping trips. I added on the feathers to my kit (and you can still pick these up here) and I knew right away I would do a layout with birds on it:-)

Now I am off to put the kids to bed and craft some more with this fantastic kit!

Managed to get another page done last night using the February kit from Art Freckles!

This girl seriously cracks me up! This is her new silliness lately...funny faces! Must be something about this age since her sister went through this phase too:-)

It is a freezing day today but I am about to bundle up and go take my dogs for a run. Hope you are having a fabulous Monday :-) :-) :-)

Art Freckles February Kit: Mini Muffins

This kit from Art Freckles this month features October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker line and I seriously heart October Afternoon! I've included the picture of the kit so if you like it, swing by HERE to pick one up:-)

This layout features my little sweetie making muffins. She is such a super helper in the kitchen. This time, she made these mini muffins all by herself (even cracking the egg...but a few egg shells in your muffin's can't hurt, right?) She got this cute muffin set from her Auntie (thanks Auntie Marnie...wink). It came with the muffin pan, the apron, a mini spoon, a mini whisk...so cute!

My Family 1977

Another layout from the fantastic January kit from Art Freckles! I decided it was time to start scrapbooking a bit of my life growing up so here is my family in 1977. I am not quite one yet and we are standing in front of my first house.

I didn't have any suitable numbers so I used some stickers and misted over top and then removed the stickers and outlined the numbers with a marker:-)

Art Freckles January Kit

Love, love, LOVE the kit this month at Art Freckles....and if you do too, you can pick one up HERE. Here is the first page I have done with the kit.

My sweet daughter likes to write me "I love you Mom" notes and of course I save them! Now I just need a place to keep them....so I did a layout (of course) and added an envelope to tuck all my sweet love notes inside!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend! We are in a deep freeze right now but hopefully it won't last too much longer so I can get out and enjoy winter again!

The holiday's are over.....

Kids are back to school, the decorations are all put away...and yet, today I have a couple of Christmas cards to show you! Somehow I missed posting these! I used December's Art Freckles kit and you can pick one up HERE!

Each month, on the 15th, over at Art Freckles, there is a "try this" idea on the blog. It was my turn this month and here is my post:

I just LOVE these paper stars and this year, I decided to make a bunch to decorate my mantle. They look amazing! And the best part? They are so quick and easy to make!

I used a template found HERE.

1) First you just print them out onto the backside of your paper.

2) You will need to print and cut out 5 pieces in total.

3) The template shows you where to fold.

4) Fold and then glue the edge. Do this with all five pieces.

5) Glue the five pieces together to make your star.

Super easy so try one today! I used the Teresa Collins music paper found in this month's kit and you can pick up a kit HERE.

Cards from Dec. Art Freckles kit

Today I have a couple of cards from the December Art Freckles kit that is packed with Teresa Collin's Noel collection. I should probably actually SEND a few cards by now.... :-) Oh well, better late than never!

Art Freckles December Kit

'Tis the season to be jolly.....and this month's kit from Art Freckles sure makes me jolly!! It is filled with amazing product from Teresa Collin's Noel line. And you KNOW that I LOVE Teresa Collins!!!!!

The kit comes with this gorgeous tinsel garland and it immediately made me think of decorating the tree so... I decorated a little paper tree with it! This layout documents how Sienna loves to play with the ornaments as she hangs them up. She spent about two hours playing with them before they actually all got on the tree! I remember doing the same thing when I was little:-)

Two more layouts....

I have two more layouts to share with you from the fantastic November Kit from Art Freckles.....you can pick a kit up for yourself here.

First up is a layout about my fur babies. Oh how I love those faces. You really can't tell from these photos, but they are literally dripping with mud. It was a rainy, dreary day and these sweet little beasts got me out to enjoy the day outside despite the rain. Who could resist letting them chase each other and slop about in the mud? (probably everyone but me...:-) They make me laugh....and while they were VERY happy on their run, they were not so happy about the bath!

Next layout, "Fall Leaves" I could have filled more squares with more pictures of my darling daughters playing in the leaves but honestly, I loved the paper so much, that I wanted to have more paper than pictures:-) Isn't all that Lilybee designs paper delicious?

Art Freckles - November Kit

Happy Weekend to you! Art Freckles November kit is now up for grabs and it is fabulous!!! Lots of yummy papers from lily bee design. Here is the first layout I have done with this kit.....and more to come!

I like to interview my kids and journal a few of their faves as well as me adding in tid bits about their personalities. I did one of Madison not to long ago, so now here is Sienna's page. I added some paint to the edge of my page and journaled around the edge. This is HUGE for me, I find it hard to write on my pages but I am trying to get more of "me" on my pages!

Bubblegum Girl

Here is one more layout from the September ART FRECKLES kit...there is so much yummy Echo Park paper in this kit, that I can just keep on creating and creating!! My daughter always tries to blow bubbles with my gum...which is usually Extra or Trident so not exactly the best bubble blowing gum. SO....I bought her bubbilicious gum this weekend and she had a BLAST learning how to blow bubbles!!!

Friday Fun

Today is yet another yucky rainy day but on the bright side, I can stay indoors and scrapbook:-)

Here are a couple of cards I did using the Art Freckles September kit. I just love that little bird...it was almost TOO cute to put on a project!!! The kit came with two, so I think for the second one I will attach some string to it and use it as a ornament for my Christmas tree:-) Have a wonderful FRIDAY.... TGIF!!!!

September Art Freckles Kit

Here are my first two layouts from the September Art Freckles Kit called Sugar Rush....all I can say is YUM! I can't wait to do more with this fantastic kit!

The first layout is all about my fun and crazy four year old. She just OOZES personality...LOVE her!

The next layout is my oldest who finally figured out the whole two wheel thing. Bless her heart, she is so cautious, just like her mama:-) She has been taking care of her two year old cousin all day today. She is such a responsible girl....oh how I LOVE her too!
