Art Freckles - May Kit

The Art Freckles kit this month"May Neighbourhood Picnic kit" is so FUN!
It features Hometown Summer from Pink Paislee and Collage Press. You can pick up a kit here.

My first layout shows my oldest daughter with her first taste of an orange crush (my other daughter picked a blue cream soda and that layout will be coming shortly:-)

All the cute kids on one of the patterned paper made me think of the school trip I volunteered to go to las year with my daughter. They went to the park for part of the day.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

101 Around the Block MISS ARTS

I am so excited to share with you that my class is coming 5/20/11 to Miss Arts Papercrafting!

Here is the class description:

Taking a walk around your block is comforting. After all, you know every nook and sidewalk crack, as well as which grannys give out the best cookies on their front porches. But, even the best neighborhoods can sometimes use a makeover. It is amazing what moving a trellis, painting a door, or planting a rose bush can do to bring life and renewed energy to your neighborhood. In “Around the Block” Jamie Harder is our papercrafting makeover specialist who, in 3 videos, revisits a tried and true favorite - the 9 block grid. Jamie showcases the Madeline’s Song kit while teaching you the fundamentals of grouping, photo selection, and contrast. Your layouts and cards will never be happier to call your craft room home.

There are so many amazing classes at Miss Arts Papercrafting School whether you are a beginner or a pro. I have learned so much already from watching all the classes!

I love your toothless smile

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It was our Spring Break from school this past week so I kept busy entertaining the kids:-) Thankfully, the weather cooperated!

This layout uses a mix of Teresa Collins papers...mostly from the POSH collection. My daughter lost both her front teeth not too long ago and at first was very self conscious about it. Now, they are almost grown it. This growing up thing happens too fast, doesn't it??
