Follow Your Heart

For this layout I used sketch #25 from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks.  Layout is just some random advice for my daughter. She is such a smart girl but she is growing up too quickly for my liking! Somebody said to me yesterday that as soon as kids start grade school, parents lose all influence and it shifts to their peers!  I can't get that out of my head...I guess I only have two more months to be her main influence...I'll have to work quickly:)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!!

Supplies:
Background Patterned Paper - Dream Street Papers (remember the moments)
Other pp: Little yellow Bicycle (love letters)
Ribbon: AC
Title: Chatterbox
Swirl: Prima Marketing
Acrylic Heart: CTMH

My first card sketch!!!

Please excuse the "amateur hour" sketch of mine:-)  I just thought I would give it a go to make my own sketch...and it was fun!  Of course I had to try it out a couple of times!!  The sketch was so I could use my new Spellbinders Nestabilities (labels one) that I just got from Lisa's Scrap Shack - great deal too, cheaper than my LSS!!!  Hooray for Lisa!!  The "wishing you well" card also uses Prima Marketing paper from her store.  The "thank-you" card is all Close to my Heart product.

Lisa's Scrap Shack Design Team Challenge #2

**** IMAGE REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION*********

This layout was done for Lisa's Scrap Shack. The challenge was to do a layout in a monochromatic scheme. Since my girls are always in pink, I stock up on pink paper and since my layout was going to be done in all pink, I figured it was a good opportunity to scrap about Madison's obsession with that colour...LOL!! Click on the layout to read the journaling... seriously, she is CRAZY for pink!!

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye (Deena's Penny Lane), Imaginisce (Baby Powder.Baby's Breath), Pink Paislee (enchanting)
"everything" - Making Memories
"pink" - thickers (vinyl)
Used my cuttlebug to emboss the circles with swiss dots folder, used a diecut folder for the butterfly and then used a CTMH heart stamp and white embossing powder
Button: CTMH

Sweet Ladybug

I did this layout awhile back for Canadian Scrapbooker's ladybug inspiration challenge.  It made me think of these old halloween pictures of my youngest.  We didn't go trick or treating or anything...it is just so fun to dress babies up:-)
All supplies are from Close to my Heart.

Love Grows Here

**** LAYOUT REMOVED FOR PUBLISHING******

When I looked at these pictures of my girls, I just felt so blessed to be able to spend so much time with them being at home right now. Journaling is all about how although there are times that I wish I could be pursuing my career aspirations, I am so happy to be sharing such precious memories with my girls and that I wouldn't have it any other way! Click on the layout if you want to see it bigger:-) All product is from Close to my Heart.
