First day of Kindergarten

My "Spring Cleaning" mojo has kicked in ... no not with the areas of my house that desperately need it ... my scrap room (MUCH more fun), and I have realized that I *should* probably do something with the 50 or so layouts stacked in a pile on my shelves..LOL!! I am NOT a chronological scrapper - I find it much more liberating to scrap what I want, whenever BUT there comes a day when these layouts should find a more permanent home....so all of this babbling is just to tell you that I am going back to "fill in the holes" so I can put these all away.

So that brings me to today's layout, my daughters first day of kindergarten! I can not believe that it is almost over....eek!!! For this page I fell in love with October Afternoon's rub on's and I almost managed to put the whole package onto this one page hee hee! Other supplies include Creative Imaginations paper, Bo Bunny paper, Thickers, Making Memories letter stickers and CTMH buttons. I also used a KI memories number diecut paper and spritzed it green!

  1. I totally agree about scrapping in order--I don't! This page is SO cute! You should enter it in at Scrapbook Trends--they are having a call for September! :)--have I ever mentioned I'm an enabler?

  3. So pretty! I love the clean feel of the black and white with splashes of bright, true color. I also love that you complimented her fuschia sweater with other bright colors. I would have probably thought i need to matchy, matchy, but what you came up with is so much more effective.

  7. I don't scrap in order, but when it's time to put the pages in an album, they go in chronologically. I am also now filling in gaps for the 2009 albums while I am doing whatever "current" LOs strike my fancy.
I love your layout. So cute. Love the Bo Bunny dot paper. I have it in so many colours and I want more--it's like the perfect paper ever.

  10. I love it! I don't scrap. I have only made one layout and didn't like it too much. The way it turned out.
Maybe later give it another try.
