It is reveal day for Ninabrook Designs and you MUST go check out Jill and Kristine's takes here, they are amazing! Each of us were given a "these are the moments" kit to come up with our own take on it...either a two page or two one pagers...so FUN!
Everything on my layout is from the kit except for the splash of white and black cardstock. I also added a bit of glimmer mist (totally addicted). For my jump title, I traced some old chipboard letters onto the patterned paper and cut them out. I then pop dotted them for a bit of dimension:-)

Yesterday was truly a winter wonderland. The snow was just gorgeous and I was excited to share the beauty with my girls so I bundled them up and we went for a walk. And of course I brought my camera, and of course I scrapped them - last night. How fast is that? The December kit from JuJu Bees Scrapbook Corner was perfect for my pictures!! Love that kit...and there are still some available.... All supplies are from the kit, except the snowflakes are CTMH!
Happy Weekend to you!! :-)

Valentine's day is almost here, but there is still plenty of time to whip up some cute Valentine's scrappy goodies!! I used the February kit from Ju Ju Bees Scrapbook Corner to make this adorable little gift bag that I plan to fill up with heart candies and hershey kisses to give to my hubby! Want to make one? It's easy!
- Cut 5 1/2 " x 10 1/2" from solid cardstock
- Score 1 1/4 " from each long side and 4 1/4" from each short side.
- Cut on the last two score lines 1" to other score lines.
- Punch (or cut as I did) 3/8" from the top of the front.
- Use gel pen to make stitching lines around the top of the purse and the punched opening.
- Fold on lines, folding small tabs to inside and adhere the sides.
- Cut belly band from patterned paper 1 1/2" x12" and adhere to front.
- Cut closure band from solid cardstock 1 1/2" x 7".
- Cut patterned paper 1" x 7" and adhere to centre of closure band. Add stitching lines and then adhere to the back under the belly.
- Cut strap 3/4" x 7" and adhere.

This is another layout I did using the lovely January kit from JuJu Bee's Scrapbook Corner. The pictures are not the best, taken without any light, but hey, I am actually IN a photo...lol...so that in itself is a miracle!! I am trying to do an album for me, although I MUCH prefer to scrap my kids :-) This gal is my BEST friend and I have known her since I was born!!! I was even named after her!!! So I needed to do a page to honour her!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
