A couple of layouts

Kristine, over at Creative Scrappers, sent me one of her kits with the yummy Lillian Collection from Crate papers and diecuts.  I had a blast working with this fabulous kit!! Thank-you Kristine....you rock!!!!!!

I had all of my mess still sitting out from my last layout so I thought I would make a card with the scraps:-) So here is my take on Card Positioning Systems Sketch 119.

Lisa's Scrap Shack Design Team Challenge #2

This layout was done for Lisa's Scrap Shack. The challenge was to do a layout in a monochromatic scheme. Since my girls are always in pink, I stock up on pink paper and since my layout was going to be done in all pink, I figured it was a good opportunity to scrap about Madison's obsession with that colour...LOL!! Supplies:

Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye (Deena's Penny Lane), Imaginisce (Baby Powder.Baby's Breath), Pink Paislee (enchanting)

"pink" - thickers (vinyl)

Used my cuttlebug to emboss the circles with swiss dots folder, used a diecut folder for the butterfly and then used a CTMH heart stamp and white embossing powder

Sweet Ladybug

I did this layout awhile back for Canadian Scrapbooker's ladybug inspiration challenge.  It made me think of these old halloween pictures of my youngest.  We didn't go trick or treating or anything...it is just so fun to dress babies up:-)

When I looked at these pictures of my girls, I just felt so blessed to be able to spend so much time with them being at home right now. Journaling is all about how although there are times that I wish I could be pursuing my career aspirations, I am so happy to be sharing such precious memories with my girls and that I wouldn't have it any other way!
