For this layout I used the fabulous Celebrate line from Teresa Collins. This photo was one of the only photos I got before one of the four balloons popped. Note to self: next photo shoot with a four year old, bring extra balloons...hee hee.

Flower Fun!!

Here is my post that went up on the GCD Studios blog the other day! It is a GREAT flower technique that I learned from the CTMH catalogue!!!

Today I am going to show you a fun and quick way to make these great flowers from your two sided patterned paper!

Step 1: Use a punch to punch out circle - choose any size depending on how big you would like your flower to be.

Step 2: Fold up one third.

Step 3. Fold up the other side, overlapping the first fold.

Step 4: Repeat with 5 more circles.

Step 5: Adhere them all together to make the flower. Add a brad or other embellishment to the middle.

For the card, I decided to use only three circles to make a different shaped flower. I used the Homespun Chic and Smoothie Shoppe Collection.

I love the look of the whole flower on my gift box and what a quick and pretty way to decorate a gift!

Freestyle is another fabulous new release from Teresa Collins. I am in love with all the yummy orange and pinks in this line. Perfect my girls:-)

Giving Thanks

Giving Thanks is another FABULOUS new release from Teresa Collins!!!! And I have SO much to be thankful for so this line is PERFECT! Like right now, I am grateful that this girl still lets me take her picture:-) My other daughter is boycotting the camera!!! Ha!!!

I am also thankful that it is Friday and a BEAUTIFUL day! What plans do you have for the weekend?

Celebrate

I LOVE the new Celebrate line from Teresa Collins and I feel so BLESSED to be able to work with such amazing product and be a part of such a talented design team!!! Cards

I had lots of left over papers lying around on my desk from working on my ART FRECKLES layouts from the July kit so I thought I would try a couple of cards. I still am not completely comfortable making cards but I figure if I keep making them it will feel more natural, you know what i mean?

I spent the weekend happily creating in my craftroom with the new CHA releases from Teresa Collins and oh my am I IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!! Have you swung by her blog yet to check it out? You need to. Can't wait to share my layouts:-)

Make a Wish

My youngest daughter just turned four in June. She is growing up too quickly but I feel so blessed to be at home spending so much time with her. We celebrated her birthday almost for an entire week - we had cake on her real birthday, when her Nana and Papa came over to celebrate, when her friends came for a party and then later when her Auntie, Uncle and cousins were in town. Whew....that is a lot of cake!

This layout was for GCD Studios and we had this amazing photo to use for our inspiration this month! How can you NOT be inspired! And, it turns out these banners are addicting, so I made one for my page by cutting out triangles out of my paper and adhering them to some string! I used the Homespun chic, Artsy Urban and Smoothie Shoppe collections.

So AMAZING!!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

...no it is not Christmas time yet....it is SUMMER CHA RELEASE time!!! (insert shrieks of joy here). I am SO excited and you'll see why when you head over to TERESA COLLINS BLOG. Speaking of amazing fabulous Teresa Collins product, that is what I used to make this layout (Chic Bebe Boy Collection). My girls were so happy to spend the weekend with their cousins and took the opportunity to snap some photos of them even though I couldn't get smiles out of them for the life of me! Art Freckles JULY KIT

I LOVE the kit from Art Freckles this month!! There is such a diverse mix of goodies in it that can mixed and matched in an endless amount of ways! Here is what I came up with - remember you can click on any photo to see it bigger. The first layout: I can write my name - isn't that just the CUTEST writing you have ever seen?? Those "n's" crack me up and I LOVE how the a is on the next line. Not bad, though, for her first time and being only three!

Next up: Sweet Summer - I had to give the paper rolling a go. Yup, I am hooked. My daughter wants me to make her a necklace so I will even though I know it will probably not last that long before she destroys it.

Lastly: The Cactus Story - Poor baby girl smacked her arm into a cactus....OUCH! It was a bad mama day but lesson learned.

Happy Fourth of July and Sneak Peek

Happy Fourth of July to all of my American friends....this card is for YOU!!! Red, white and blue was the inspiration this month for the GCD Studios facebook team! I used the Homespun collection (patterned paper), the Lydia collection (backside for stars) and the big fabulous button is from GCD Studios too. The stamp is from CTMH.

I am almost finished my pages using the July ART FRECKLES kit. Here is a sneak peek of what I worked on today. Happy Canada Day and GCD Studios Give Away

Ok I know, I am a day late. We just got back from a week long holiday camping. It was wonderful and even though we didn't partake in any Canada Day Festivities, we still had fun celebrating on our own:-) Is the headband a bit much? I thought it was so cute...hee hee.

Now I have LOADS of catching up to do...isn't that how it goes when you go away? I can't wait to craft this weekend. Right now, I am off to check out everybody's blogs and see what you all have been up to!
