The good news is that I get to share a whole pile of layouts with you.... I had the privilege of guest designing again for My Creative Scrapbook and today I can show you my projects!!! The Creative Kit, found HERE, is filled with beautiful We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Papers and so much more! It was such a FUN kit to work with!

I also got to play with the GORGEOUS main kit too, and I am in love with all of the Crate paper goodness in this one!!

MCS - Feb Sneaks

I had the pleasure of guest designing again for My Creative Scrapbook and today I get to show you a few sneaks! The first two photos show a peek on a couple of layouts I did using the Creative Kit. This kit is so fun, full of colour and superb embellishments!

The next couple of sneaks feature the Main Kit and this one is another AMAZING kit but how could it not be amazing with all the wonderful Crate Paper goodness this kit has jammed packed into it!

I love my weekends...so relaxing, well, except for all the cleaning:-) I am enjoying hearing about all the scrapbookers who are off to CHA...I so wish I was there! But I am excited to see pictures and videos of all the booths and I am so excited for Teresa Collins and Webster's Pages to show off their gorgeous new collections!

Speaking of new collections, this layout features Teresa Collin's Everyday Moments collection and the cutie is my neighbour's son, who I was lucky enough to photograph this summer:-) I love having the opportunity to do "boy" layouts every once and awhile.

I feel like time is going so much faster these days...it is really quite scary. It is, however, a reminder to cherish everyday, every moment. I try to pass this message on to my daughters, that each day is a gift for them to always make the best of every situation! I used Teresa Collin's Everyday Moments collection for this layout. I heart this line so much...it is so meaningful!

I am so excited to share with today my first Webster's Pages layout! My sweet girl is always telling me the BEST stories...she has such a creative imagination. I couldn't help but snap photos of her while she told me her latest:-) I used the AMAZING "Everyday Poetry" collection from Webster's Pages...check out the collection on the post today HERE...but I am warning you, be prepared to drool! I am so in love with all of Webster's incredible product!!

Beautiful - Teresa Collins Spring Fling

I created this layout using the new Spring Fling release from Teresa Collins and I have to say that this collection has been EXTRA enjoyable to work with because while I am creating with these gorgeous flowers and wonderful butterflies...I can forget...for just a moment...that is is -45 C outside!!! It has been a FREEZING week and I am just so happy that I had some wonderful scrappy supplies to warm my heart:-)

Teresa Collins New Release Fabrications

I am so in love with this new line from Teresa Collins called Fabrications Canvas. The colours and patterns are so fun to work with! And just look at all those gorgeous embellishments!!

This first layout features my daughters and their adorable cousins...I just love when they are all together! I loved these papers so much, I think I almost used all of them on this one page!

This layout highlights my neice...three is such a fun age:-) I just LOVE the scalloped sticker border that comes in this collection!

Isn't this time of year when all the new product comes out so fun! I love it!

Today Teresa Collins is debuting another new collection on her blog called Spring Fling. I absolutely LOVE this line. The colour combination is delicious and the stamps, die cuts and stickers are such a fantastic addition!

Happy New Year!!!!

I am just waiting for my daughters to clean up their monstrous mess they made in their play area before tucking them into bed. Yes...keeping my house clean is a resolution (now hopefully my husband doesn't make me clean up my scrap space before I can go to bed...LOL ).

This layout features the Love Story collection from Fancy Pants Designs. Gosh I am a sucker for love collections. Hearts are a must and if I check back, a good 50% of my layouts have a heart on them. Guess I am feeling the love in my life. And just look at her face on this layout....she is way too loveable:-)

This layout was published in the July issue of Scrapbook Trends. I made this one when I was designing for gcd studios using the fabulous Funhouse collection and I forgot that it got picked up before I posted it on my blog...so here it is.

I spent my weekend crafting, shopping for Christmas presents (happy to say I am pretty much done!), and today was a kids Christmas party complete with Santa and Sleigh rides. FUN! I hope you had a SUPER weekend!!!

Can you believe it is only 12 more sleeps until Christmas!!!!

I am having SO much fun playing around in Cricut Craft Room working with Teresa Collins Christmas images. I also used her Christmas Home papers for my projects. I decided to make a card (to add to the pile I have WAITING for me to mail them...HA), as well as an ornament. I am going to attach them to my gift bags as a little something extra :-) I also took a picture of the ornament hanging on my tree to see what that looks like. I like it. My tree, however, I describe as a little (ok maybe a whole lot) on the UGLY side. It is a fake, short, lacks in branches, has mis-matched lights and is filled with homemade ornaments that my girls made. It is ugly BUT...it is filled with love. My girls did the decorating, and every time I look at that tree, it makes me smile.

It is those moments that remind me, not to stress that my cards aren't out yet, that I am not done shopping, that my kids saw their presents that were supposed to be from Santa....it is a season of LOVE!!!!

This season brings me so much joy! This weekend we went to visit a real reindeer and we also picked up an "Elf on the Shelf"...do you have one of these??? My kids LOVE it! Every night "Elfy" visits the North Pole to report to Santa and then in the morning, he is in a new spot for the kids to discover. How fun...my girls talk to their elf and get so excited when they find him in the mornings!

I am so excited to see Teresa Collin's new release with Provo Craft. These images are Cricut Craft Room exclusives! Have you heard of Cricut Craft Room? It is an online design tool that lets you create anywhere! It is free to sign up and you automatically get Cricut Craft Room Basics, a collection of digital shapes and fonts! I am SO excited to get CRAFTY and play around this weekend using these FABULOUS images.

I also have a layout to share featuring my sweet Maddie from last year using Teresa's Christmas Home collection. Oh my she looks so young there! Hopefully I can convince my family to let me take pictures of them tomorrow....but we will have to squeeze that in between baking cookies and visiting Santa's reindeer! LOVE this season:-)

Hello all you happy scrappers! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I braved the mall on Saturday and got a few things crossed off my list:-) So now it is time to start wrapping some presents! Since I don't like to let any of my beautiful paper go unused, I decided to make a couple of gift bags using my leftovers from my Freehand Scraps December kit. Yipppeee December has arrived! I am very excited for the Christmas season and the first of December is when I really get into it! It is also the day I get to show you my projects that I did with the fabulous December Kit from Freehand Scraps.

My first layout features my sweet Sienna and her Christmas letter to Santa. Now that she is five and learning to write, she was so excited to write Santa her wish list. All she asked for was a "crib life" doll...whatever those are...not sure she really knows what they are.... darn commercials :-)

Next up, is Sienna again from last year's adventures in the snow! She was throwing snow up in the air! Snow fun indeed!

And for my last layout, I took pictures of Madison in her new reindeer antlers that she will be wearing at her school Christmas concert!

I also made a couple cards...I sooo LOVE those Christmas lights.

Happy Monday to you! So far my week is off to a much better start than last week! (I spent the week recovering from a concussion after falling on the ice/concrete back onto my head while out on my run...OUCH) Luckily, I had an AMAZING kit from Freehand Scraps to work with! I am fortunate to be a guest designer for the December kit:-) I can only show you a few sneaks for now but I will tell you that I absolutely adore this kit!!!!!! This layout was up on the Teresa Collins Design Team blog the other day. It felt so good to do a two page layout!!! These adorable kids belong to my neighbour...I took their pictures last year - they are all the sweetest kids - and I couldn't resist scrapping them! It is so fun to mix it up by scrapbooking someone else's family don't you find?

I am so excited for Christmas this year and can't wait to decorate! I am trying to convince my hubby to let me get a real tree this year. What kind of Christmas tree do you have? Fake or real?

Working Woman

Yup...I am a working woman. (not that I wasn't working before....staying at home IS hard work) I have a term contract until January and it has been a tough adjustment but I have finally figured out my routine. And work is great...I get to spend a part of my day feeding these adorable chickadees! But, as cute as they may be, they are no replacement for my sweet girls and I miss them like crazy!!!!!

I am enjoying a fabulous weekend of catching up on some crafting!!!! These three cards use the amazing Nikki Sivils

product and were published in the fall issue of Canadian Scrapbooker! Be sure to grab a copy...it is jam packed with

Christmas is coming!

Well now that Halloween has come and gone, it is time to start thinking about Christmas! Here are a few of my Christmas projects that were featured on the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog HERE. Be sure to check that blog out daily...the design team has created some AMAZING projects!

I am trying to do my Christmas cards early this year so here are a couple I have come up with using Teresa Collin's Christmas Home line.

Reading "The Night Before Christmas" is a family tradition and I love that my daughter is now old enough to read it to us!!!

It is calling for snow tomorrow so that will put me even more in the Christmas spirit :-)

I LOVE LOVE Halloween and I love to send cards ..... so I decided to make a few halloween cards. I made cute paper pumpkins last year to use as part of my seasonal decor but i thought, why not add it to a card? LOVE how it turned out!

When life hands you lemons....

These pictures were taken on our trip to Phoenix to visit my parents. They have a lemon tree beside them - which was EXTRA exciting because we visited them in February when it was -30 C at home! The girls had a blast making lemonade with their pickings:-)

I was super excited to find this Sweet Summertime line from Little Yellow Bicycle since it matched my vision for my page PERFECTLY. Don't you love it when that happens?

Celebrate Love

This weekend my parents will be celebrating their 40th anniversary. They share such a true and beautiful love and they are such an inspiration to me. On Friday they are coming over for supper to celebrate. So today I am celebrating their love with a card.

I picked up some gorgeous Authentique Paper at a **new** scrapbook store CLOSER to my house (and that is dangerously GOOD...hee hee) and while checking out their blog today, I discovered there is a sketch challenge. Since I thought it would be quicker than a layout (who am I kidding...cards take me forever), I decided to play along with the card sketch. I used the delicious Uncommon and Journey lines. This sketch challenge ends in a couple of hours...so I had to take a picture using flash tonight so pardon the pic.

She melts my heart

My sweet baby girl is starting kindergarten this Friday. (They start a little later because their teacher does home visits to meet all the kids first:-) I am truly in shock about her going to school. How did she grow up so fast? I am feeling very happy for her but I know that I will be a mess on Friday:-( I have loved being at home with her every day and feel so blessed to have had so much one on one time with her.

So today I did a layout about her. This girl really does melt my heart. I love how crazy fun she is, I love her sense of humour, I love how sweet and thoughtful she is.....everything!!!!!

Gift Cards

September. Unbelievable! Anyone else wondering where summer went? You will have to pardon my blog absence but we were away for LOTS of the summer. It was wonderful...many relaxing days at the beach, fishing, boating, tubing, swimming, too much eating (!), spending so much time TOGETHER as a family. Then I spent some time in Vancouver, for my sweet friend's wedding! So happy for her to have found love! And after that, back to the lake. Summer sweetness.

However, it is right back to routines now...and I embrace that. My kids finally go to bed at their bedtimes and my evenings are mine again. Hello scrap room...I've missed you! I made these cute purse cards that open up to hold a gift card using mostly the fabulous Posh collection from Teresa Collins.

Getting organized today....tackled the task of cleaning my scrapbooking room and going through all my kids artwork. What do YOU do with your kids artwork? How much to save? What to throw out? For my pre-schooler...I took pictures of her with her art after every class so I can do a quick page and have all work stored that way.

I love this layout..my girls seriously melt my heart. I LOVE how much they love each other:-) This layout uses Teresa Collins World Traveler collection (check it out HERE) ...I love how it can be used for any theme! And that heart? So fun...I picked up some Martha Stewart micro beads from Michaels the other day (on a clear out special..love a great deal) and I used the negative space of the heart from a CTMH heart chipboard set by cutting around what was left after I popped the heart chipboard piece out...hope that makes sense. This girl makes me so happy. And she is so happy...she is so fun to hang out with:-) I can not believe that soon, very soon...she will be starting kindergarten. But trying not to think about that just yet; we still have a few more weeks of summer to soak up! Hope you are enjoying yours:-)

I absolutely love Teresa Collins Black and White Cartridge for the Cricut Imagine. I know I will use it again and again....

The first layout features my oldest and some of her traits at 7 (ack! she is 7! where does the time go???) The next layout is of my neighbour's daughter, who I adore photographing. I have never seen a toddler more eager to sit for photos! And she is such a DOLL:-)

The Big Book of Scrapbook Pages

Feels like forever ago that I did these pages! Both of these were published in the "Big Book of Scrapbook Pages" which is a fabulous book with amazing inspiration! First one I did lots of stamping and misting. Next page features my daughter and her ratty old blankie (which she still LOVES and sleeps with even today). It was falling apart, so I convinced her to let me cut a square off and use it on a scrapbook page so she would be able to remember it forever. "Blankie Love" uses lot of Jillibean Soup goodness:-)

Sorry I have been absent from my blog and your blogs...we have been camping for the last three weeks. It was wonderful but it always so nice to come back home again too:-)

I LOVE this time of year when CHA rolls around and I LOVE LOVE Teresa Collin's new collections! And if you haven't already seen them...here they are: Christmas Home, World Traveler, and Haunted Hallows.

This is another project that was published in Papercrafts 350 Card and Gifts Magazine. I made this using a mix of Celebrate and Giving Thanks collections from Teresa Collins. I always put birthday's up on my calendar and then when I recycle my calendar at the end of the year, I forget the birthdays! So I made this cute little birthday book so I will never miss a birthday ( and with a whole lot of help from Facebook too...LOL)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend! We watched some fireworks yesterday for Canada day (lucky for us....someone bought a bunch and set them off in the field behind our house) And happy Fourth of July to my American friends:-)

Hello Summer! The kids are officially done school and holiday mode has kicked in! And with CHA around the corner, LOTS of scrapping with Teresa Collins new lines going on....all I can say is AMAZING stuff!

Here is my card set (with box) that was in the Paper Crafts 350 Cards & Gifts Issue. That magazine is filled to the brim with inspiration!! One of my FAVES!

I am so blessed to have married the most AMAZING man who happens to be the most AMAZING Dad! I did this layout in honour of Father's Day (which unfortunately we spent most of in the car travelling - coming home from a wedding). The envelope opens to hold more photos as well as notes the girls wrote to their Daddy.

I was so excited to have been asked by Jen Gallacher (LOVE her) to be a guest designer for her Stretch Your Sketch class over at Two Peas in a Bucket. You can check it out HERE.

Not too long ago my girls were invited to a Super Hero birthday and in this house of girls, we didn't have any superman or spiderman costumes kicking around:-) So we decided to make our own! They decorated their masks and capes and I bought them wigs! We even used some glimmer mist on the capes...scrapbooking supplies come in handy for LOTS of things:-) Sienna named herself "Super Sienna" and Madison was "Purple Girl". SO FUN!

I made this mini album for a friend of mine about her son, Quin. Quin and Sienna are the cutest of friends and I am so lucky to have Quin come and play with her each week:-) It is so fun having a boy around the house for a change:-) I made this mini with mostly Teresa Collin's On the Edge line and with a bit of Sports Edition too!

This is what happens without design team assignments :-( Art Freckles closed their doors so sadly there was no deadline for the June kit....guess I need to apply for more design teams .... seems to be my motivation for scrapping - at least during these warms months :-) :-) Luckily I have some stuff I'm working on for Teresa Collins that I can post soon.....

We have been working lots on our yard and the big project has been staining the deck and our fence! I have also been busy prepping for my daughter's birthday that happened over the weekend...she turned FIVE!!! Where did my baby go??? I did a carnival theme party for her where we did lots of games to win prizes but the highlight without a doubt, was the jumping castle! I've also included a picture of the pinata I made:-)

I also wanted to let you know that my class "Around the Block" is happening now over at Miss Arts Papercrafting School. And there are so many other AMAZING classes to check out!!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It was our Spring Break from school this past week so I kept busy entertaining the kids:-) Thankfully, the weather cooperated!

This layout uses a mix of Teresa Collins papers...mostly from the POSH collection. My daughter lost both her front teeth not too long ago and at first was very self conscious about it. Now, they are almost grown it. This growing up thing happens too fast, doesn't it??

The Easter Bunny came early to our house this year...and now my children are full of sugar:-) My hubby works on Easter Sunday but didn't want to miss out on the easter egg collecting fun so we asked the Easter bunny to come a day early!

This layout really has nothing to do with Easter even though it is all about a Bunny. This special bunny is actually an "i don't pee my pants anymore" present for my youngest...LOL. We went to Build a Bear and did the whole kiss the heart thing...she was in LOVE with this stuffy and it quickly became "the" stuffy that she needed EVERYWHERE....even the movie theatres...where we lost it. She was devastated! I can't imagine as a parent, watching her go through worse heartache..this was horrible enough!!! So....back we went to build a bear and found the SAME bunny and made it again! Problem solved.

Sports Edition II

Good morning! Today I have a few projects to share using Teresa Collins Sports Edition II collection.

The first page features me a couple of years ago, when I did my first half marathon. I kept my "bib" from the race and used it on my page. I trained with a friend and then had my sister (who is a avid marathoner) run the race with me to pace me!

Next page, is my friend's little guy...he is such a cutie! I love how this paper doesn't necessarily have to be used for a "sports" theme.

And lastly, I did a card with this paper too.

Another layout today to share with you using the 12x12 Notations collection from Teresa Collins. I saw this beautiful chandelier paper and it made me think of the title "you light up my life" which my girls certainly do:-)

My first layout is from last summer's holiday at the lake. My girls happily spend everyday, ALL day at the beach:-) Looking forward to doing that again this summer! I had fun rolling paper to make my sun!

Next up...sweet laughter. I love that girls laugh. Had fun with the mist and playing with circles:-)

Lastly (for now) is "they call me mama". I don't know why my girls started calling me mama but I sure love it:-) I had fun playing with my new cricut for this one! It sure makes cutting out hearts a breeze! In the times of BC (before cricut - which really was only a couple of days ago...LOL) I would happily spend hours tracing and cutting out each heart! Well I can NEVER go back now! LOVE my cricut!!!

Timeless projects

Today is my day over at the Teresa Collin's Design Team Blog for a little getting to know me interview:-) You can check it out HERE. Several of my layouts were featured. The first one is on my wedding day (please ignore the tan lines...I did not prepare very well for a strapless dress...hee hee). It was such a beautiful day!

With a similar design, I decorated inside of a frame I had and have it on display -- Teresa's products are SO beautiful, I love looking at them on display:-)

Next up is my youngest, "my baby". She is growing up too fast and I was taking a trip down memory lane the other day (she was such a delightful baby) and decided to do a then and now layout for fun. Oh how I miss babies....LOVE babies. But sadly we are done:-( My mind is totally ok with being done but my ovaries are trying to tell me something else...HA! I need someone close to me to have a baby I can cuddle...sigh.

As soon as I received my 12x12 Notations papers, I tore into them. The papers are so beautiful and so versatile. Swing by Teresa Collins Blog and see the huge variety of layouts from the design team....it is AMAZING!!

Here are the two layouts I whipped up in between ER visits for my daughter who broke her foot. Poor kid...this is her second break in her life...I've NEVER broken a bone (knock on wood). I think I need to give her calcium supplements to increase her bone strength?? It is not that she is a rough and wild kid or anything either. She is quite cautious! I feel so bad that is it FINALLY spring here...butterflies are out, birds are coming back...and she can't ride her bike or jump in the puddles:-( But...it could have been worse...and her cast will be off in two weeks....not long at all!

This girl really is such a delight! However, she doesn't let me take pictures of her anymore:-( and her sister's album (she still loves the camera) is filling up fast! So I found these from last summer.

I am cleaning my scrap room - this has been ongoing for a month now...and I keep finding things I forgot about and want to use...then I scrap and make a huge mess all over again. BUT slowly I am getting more organized and using up some stuff in the process:-) This page uses Lily Bee papers from the November Art Freckles Kit. I also added some CTMH rub ons and wooden buttons (I LOVE LOVE these wooden buttons).

Happy Monday to you! Since most of my layouts I have been working on are for assignments and are cued up just waiting their turn to be revealed ..I decided to do a layout just for FUN!

This layout features my darling Sienna wearing a t'shirt that I wore when I was a kid! Love the caption on it too "Being good gets you stuff" ...so true! My mom saved several outfits that I wore and I get a kick out of seeing my kids now wear it! I was hoping to find a photo of me wearing it too...have to do some more digging in my mom's photo albums. Then I will replace the little photo with the one of me!

I used mostly gcd studios papers on this one...from the Soul Food collection (I heart this collection and can not wait to get my hands on the embellishments!!!!!)

March Kit From Art Freckles

Hello! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Pretty low key here but I managed to get lots of scrappy projects done:-) Here are two that I did using the SOLD OUT Art Freckles kit...wanna see what you missed out on? Check the kit out HERE and be sure to be ready to pounce on next months kit:-)

The first layout is me with my sweet Sienna. I decided that I needed to get into more of my pages so my 7 year old took these pictures for me...she did pretty darn good hey? I just LOVE the Donna Downey/Prima Tags that came in this kit...I seriously almost used them all on this layout..but settled on two:-)

Next layout's pictures are from last summers on one of our camping trips. I added on the feathers to my kit (and you can still pick these up here) and I knew right away I would do a layout with birds on it:-)

Now I am off to put the kids to bed and craft some more with this fantastic kit!

Circles!!!

Today my layouts for gcd studios went up on their blog! It seems I have had circles on the brain lately.... :-)

This past month, I was lucky enough to have been given Soul Food and Animal Crackers for girls to work on...and I simply ADORE both of these collections!!!

The first layout, "Almost Seven" is about my oldest daughter. A couple of weeks before my kids birthdays, I like to do a layout, to look back and reflect on how much they have grown! I just love the orange and pinks in this collection!

The next layout, "Sugar and Spice" uses the Animal Crackers collection. The papers are SO CUTE!! I cut out several circle from the Icon Dots sheet and pop dotted them for dimension. I also did a bit of fussy cutting on the Cube Leaf paper so that it was overlapping onto the white cardstock. I then painted with a bit of white paint onto my paper and wrote my journaling on top!

Happy March...we are that much closer to spring...yipppeee!!!

I love how my daughters are so much more than sisters....they truly are great friends. This layout features my little sweetie making muffins. She is such a super helper in the kitchen. This time, she made these mini muffins all by herself (even cracking the egg...but a few egg shells in your muffin's can't hurt, right?) She got this cute muffin set from her Auntie (thanks Auntie Marnie...wink). It came with the muffin pan, the apron, a mini spoon, a mini whisk...so cute!

So.....I have this problem. I take entirely WAY too many photos of my girls. What's an aspiring photographer to do? I need to practice. I WANT to practice and personally I think they are GREAT subjects. And of course, I now feel the need to scrap them. Oh how I fear they will need an entire moving truck to take their scrapbook albums with them when they move out:-) :-)

My Family 1977

Another layout from the fantastic January kit from Art Freckles! I decided it was time to start scrapbooking a bit of my life growing up so here is my family in 1977. I am not quite one yet and we are standing in front of my first house.

I didn't have any suitable numbers so I used some stickers and misted over top and then removed the stickers and outlined the numbers with a marker:-)

My daughter, Madison, is losing her front tooth...it is kind of half out...but not quite ready to be pulled (or I am just a wimp) either way, it is a reminder that she is growing up! I want her to always know how PROUD I am of her! She is such an amazing person! Lately, I have been watching old videos of my kids and it really is all happening too fast. It makes me sad but also motivated to ENJOY every moment of every age!

Cute Crazy Cousins

Holidays are still going strong for my house....and I am LOVING the sleeping in! Yesterday we went on a family sleigh ride - it was SO fun! The rest of the week is supposed to be COLD so I am ready to hunker down and scrapbook...I am suffering serious withdrawal!!

I did this layout awhile ago, but forgot to post it! My girls were sad to not be with their cousins this year for Christmas - they always have so much fun together! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!! We are having a wonderful day with family and I hope are too!!! I don't have a family picture to share yet, but all I asked for this Christmas was everyone to sit down and take a family pic! Crossing my fingers.... Here is one of Sienna...she is home with me most days and is always willing to pose for the camera:-)

Each month, on the 15th, over at Art Freckles, there is a "try this" idea on the blog. It was my turn this month and here is my post:

I just LOVE these paper stars and this year, I decided to make a bunch to decorate my mantle. They look amazing! And the best part? They are so quick and easy to make!

I used a template found HERE.

1) First you just print them out onto the backside of your paper.

2) You will need to print and cut out 5 pieces in total.

3) The template shows you where to fold.

4) Fold and then glue the edge. Do this with all five pieces.

5) Glue the five pieces together to make your star.

Super easy so try one today! I used the Teresa Collins music paper found in this month's kit and you can pick up a kit HERE.

Art Freckles Holiday Hostess Gifts Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Art Freckles Hostess Gifts Blog Hop! I am the last stop on the hop and you should be arriving from Shannon's Blog. If you want to start at the beginning...head to the ART FRECKLES blog.

This is such a wonderful time of the year to get together with family and friends and it always nice to bring a little something along for the host. So for my project, I made this cute paper bag that you could fill with anything. Mine will be filled with some delicious holiday baking (as soon as I do some holiday baking...the earlier I do it...the more I eat...lol). I also made this coordinating card. Cindy Liebel did a tutorial on paper wreaths here (she is so amazing) so I gave it a whirl miniature style for my card.

BUT..after I finished my card, I decided that the wreath would make a beautiful ornament. So I attached a gem with some wire and VOILA.

The gorgeous papers used in my project are from the NOEL collection by Teresa Collins as well as the gem from her BLINGAGE collection. Art Freckles December Kit

'Tis the season to be jolly.....and this month's kit from Art Freckles sure makes me jolly!! It is filled with amazing product from Teresa Collin's Noel line. And you KNOW that I LOVE Teresa Collins!!!!!

The kit comes with this gorgeous tinsel garland and it immediately made me think of decorating the tree so... I decorated a little paper tree with it! This layout documents how Sienna loves to play with the ornaments as she hangs them up. She spent about two hours playing with them before they actually all got on the tree! I remember doing the same thing when I was little:-)

December has arrived....and so has the winter issue of Canadian Scrapbooker! I was so honoured to have been asked to do a layout for the cover! Unfortunately, my layout was not selected for the front but it was one of the top five and is published in the magazine as one of the "other takes" on the cover. So fun!

Grateful everyday Mini Album

Monday already? Today I have a mini album to share with you. I LOVE these monthly journaling tags from Teresa Collin's giving thanks line. They gave me the idea to use them in a mini to journal about each month in my daughters lives. But for this mini, the journaling is on the pull out tags, where I have written some private thoughts to my girls. Each month, I highlight the important things that happened that month and how very proud I am of them:-)

Since I have SO many photos of my girls, I thought it would be fun to highlight a photo month so I could glance over it and see the gradual changes!

Teresa Collin's lines mix together beautifully and in this mini I mixed giving thanks, celebrate, and freestyle. And of course, lots of blingage!!!

Frog hunt

Can you believe that these cute little frogs are frozen solid right now? Yeah, it's true. Their hearts actually stop beating while they are in this frozen state, so it is not like hibernating where the heart slows down. AMAZING.

I am constantly in awe of the natural world and find peace when I am out in it, exploring all of the wonderful creatures that we share this planet with. I am so happy to be able to share this passion with my girls. They especially love frogs and we are so lucky to have them just behind our house.

I feel so lucky to have such wonderful daughters and even more lucky to be able to be with them each day! And just look at them together, they love each other so much! Don't get me wrong, I am sure that not five minutes after this photo, they were bickering like cats and dogs!!! But, overall, they do get along very well!

Gift tag set

Another project today for gcd studios!

With the Christmas season quickly approaching, I love to have special gifts on hand to take with me to give to the host of a dinner party or for my kids teachers...there are just so many people who deserve a little special something! And this project, doesn't break the bank!

I made a set of four Christmas tags using the lovely papers from the Joyful Peace collection. I simply adhered some scraps on paper to white cardstock and then cut out my tree shapes. I then added some yellow stickles to some some gcd studios star chipboard! Simple! Adding a quick paper bow to the box really finishes it off!
